Su Vida also offers Custom Atelier, a service for anyone seeking custom dimensions, finishes, or designs. Su Vida works closely with several ateliers (or artisan workshops) in Southern California to create exactly what you envision. With the skill, experience and craftsmanship of fine wood- and upholstery- ateliers your wish for any room of your home can become a reality.
Proprietor, Esther Amano, is thrilled to be a part of the Village Shops at the Bernardo Winery. Clearly, it is the ideal setting for Su Vida…refined rustic! Su Vida was inspired from Esther’s many travels throughout Spain and Mexico as well as from residing in historic Kensington for seven years. During the latter, she gained an appreciation of our native San Diego architecture while she and her husband Lance diligently researched and restored their 1925 home. From historic color selections down to the period light fixtures no detail was overlooked. This attention to detail has inspired Esther to seek out furnishings for Su Vida which will compliment our California architecture. Most of the art you find in the boutique is created by local artists depicting local scenery. A treasure for any local or visiting collector!
Su Vida was born from an appreciation of historical beauty and the desire to offer unique, quality furnishings at a great value.
