San Diego County | 91% Pinot Gris, 9% Viognier |
Decades ago, original California wineries would name their blends after French regions to help with recognition, stylistic indicators and marketing. With a long history of label approvals from the government, we are still allowed to label this wine after the famous French region. However, as a heritage wine made at one of California’s oldest wineries, it’s a relic of when San Diego’s wine culture was easy and unpretentious. Gallon jugs of this wine flew off the shelf.
Today we make our Chablis from Pinot Gris grapes from Emerald Creek. Light, airy, and crisp, this wine is the perfect “house white wine”, best ordered by the case.
Tasting Notes: white peach, honey, lime zest, and loquat.
Wine is shipped via FedEx and will require an adult signature. We make every effort to ship during weather suitable for wine, so some shipments may be delayed depending on the circumstances.
Some states dont allow direct-to-consumer wine delivery.
