Welcome to Bernardo Winery

Plan to spend the day at the Oldest Continuously Operating Winery in Southern California. Located 25 miles north of downtown San Diego and just minutes off the 15 freeway, the Bernardo Winery is a wine, food, and art destination visited by locals and tourists alike.
Available at the tasting room and on the weekend, at our courtyard wine counter. Enjoy a wine tasting hosted by our knowledgeable wine stewards and learn about how Bernardo Winery has grown and continues to grow wine grapes and make award winning wine in Sunny San Diego. The Tasting Room also offers curated wine flights, wines by the glass and bottle sales.
If you would like to order food to accompany your wine, you can find something for every palate in the Kitchen, from our famous brick-oven pizzas to pastas, salads, bruschetta and other tasty Italian fare, all made onsite with artisan ingredients. Walk-up service, no reservations, open seating throughout our courtyard, gardens and patios. 
While enjoying your wine, feel free to visit our village shops, coffee roaster and artist galleries, located in the courtyard. The village shops have something for everyone, from women's clothing and accessories, to one of a kind art pieces, artisan soaps and candles, craft coffee, sweets and gelato.

Gazebo reservations for large groups: 
For groups larger than 12 people, reservations are required. Book with us using the button below.

Perfect for parties of 8 to 20, the Gazebo at Bernardo Winery is centrally located in our courtyard between the Wine Tasting Room and BW Kitchen. $12 non-refundable venue fee per person for the use of the gazebo for 3 hours. Wine and food can be ordered from our Wine Tasting Room and Kitchen, respectively.
Please Note: No amplified music, no outside food or beverage. banquet seating is provided, however additional event seating customizations or event enhancements may be added for an additional fee.

Please note:
No outside food and beverage are permitted. No pets are permitted on winery grounds, no exceptions. ADA recognized service dogs that assist a disabled person are always welcome.
