Plan to spend the day with us!

Located 25 miles north of downtown San Diego and just minutes off the 15 freeway, the Bernardo Winery is a wine, food, and shopping destination visited by locals and tourists alike.

Enjoy a wine tasting hosted by our knowledgeable wine stewards in the tasting room and learn about how Bernardo Winery has grown and continues to grow wine grapes and make award winning wine in Sunny San Diego.

The Tasting Room offers curated wine flights, wines by the glass and bottle sales. Please note that the Tasting Room and Tasting Room Patio are strictly 21 years and up. Children are welcome to enjoy the Kitchen patio and courtyard seating with their family and must be with a parent or guardian at all times.

If you would like to order food to accompany your wine, you can find something for every palate in the Kitchen, from our famous brick-oven pizzas to pastas, salads, bruschetta and other tasty Italian fare, all made onsite with artisan ingredients. Walk-up service, no reservations, open seating.

While enjoying your wine, feel free to visit our village shops, coffee roaster and artist galleries, located in the courtyard. The village shops have something for everyone, from women's clothing and accessories, to one of a kind art pieces, artisan soaps and candles, craft coffee, sweets and gelato.

Please note: Pets are not permitted on the winery grounds, no exceptions. Service dogs recognized by the ADA, that perform a task for a disabled person are always welcome. (In California, impersonating the owner or trainer of a service dog is a criminal misdemeanor offense under Penal Code § 365.7.)
